Claire Meharg is a contemporary fine artist with a Masters and BA (Hons) Fine Art from the University of Plymouth. She has also studied at Plymouth College of Art and Dartington College of Arts.  .She has widely exhibited  including the Liverpool John Moores University, University of Chester, Liverpool Irish Festival, Peninsular Art Gallery, University of Plymouth, Espacio, Vyner Street and Stone Place Galleries, London and The Plough Arts Centre, Great Torrington, Devon.

I am interested in the formal act of painting and drawing rather than a specific narrative, establishing a connection with the viewer through line, form and colour.
